A woman has shared footage of a possible UFO sighting at an idyllic Australian holiday spot.

Cleaner Jacqueline Raistrick, from Cairns, was working at a holiday home when she and her colleague noticed an obscure object hovering above Lake Barrine in far north Queensland last week.

A video taken with her mobile phone shows a dark figure in the shape of a curved line floating among clouds of smoke at sunset.

'What that f*** is that?' Jacqueline is heard saying in a four-minute video.
